Chen-Hai Cemetery of Ching Dynasty(1886) 高雄縣甲仙鄉五里埔鎮海軍墓園 三級古蹟

The third class historical site:"Cemetery of Chen-Hai Troop"(Chen-Hai means handle the strait in Chinese), established at 1886 to bury the soliders who lost their life on the mission to protection the frontiers.

Most of them are come from southern part of Hu-Nan(now, south of Hu-Nan Province, China), some ae Hu-Bei(Hu-Bei Province). The cause of death are tropical diaeases such as malaria, dysentery.....
The words on the tomb are curved by the solider's knife, and still remaining until now.

The stone-plate is set up at 1996, more than one century after them death

Early presbyterian church-MuJa Church 木柵教會

木柵長老教會 位於高雄縣內門鄉木柵村 就在三號公路旁 教會規模不大 卻是 歷史悠久

這個建築是新的

一八六八年十二月十六日興建會堂於現址。一九 六九年十一月十九日重建舉行奠基典禮，翌年十二月十六日重建完成。一九七八年 九月四日開工籌建教育館，一九七九年四月十五日完工。一九九○年二月十九日重建主日學教室，於隔年元月六日完工落成。一九九一年七月購地三甲五分餘，作為教會營地之用，現正積極規劃中。木柵教會位於台三線省 道旁，距今一百卅一餘年， 由木柵居民戴返老先生夫人 ，因罹患病症前往旗後（今 高雄市旗津）求醫於馬雅各 醫師。住院期間得以聽見主 的福音，喜獲得救的真道， 於是認罪、悔改、信主耶穌 基督。病得痊癒返家後，有感 主恩浩瀚，帶領人歸主心切，即向親屬鄰里為主作美好的見證。夫婦同心協力，四 處宣傳福音，幸獲聖靈的默助，遂得姬密池、東淵、陳清山、劉弄、鄂官、姬文美 等十數戶，以後陸陸續續有人歸依主道。戴翁便提供自宅作為臨時禮拜之用。後來福音廣傳，教友增加，信徒集議，大家鳩資決議建堂，購地興建土角厝禮拜堂，於主後一八六八年十二月十六日興建會堂於現址。二次大戰後，當時舊禮拜堂因是土角厝建造，年代甚久，具已頹舊，遂於一九 六九年十一月十九日舉行奠基典禮，翌年十二月十六日重建完成。暨於慶祝百週年 紀念將此堂呈獻於上帝。嗣後，教會邁入第二世紀的新里程，並於主後一九七八年 九月四日開工籌建教育館，主後一九七九年四月十五日完工，為設教一一○週年之 獻禮。一九九○年二月十九日重建主日學教室，於隔年元月六日完工落成。一九九一年七月購地三甲五分餘，作為教會營地之用，現正積極規劃中。

也是高雄唯一 可能是"绝後"了:高雄特殊皮膚病診所leprosy,Kaohsiung

當台北的"樂生療養院"吵的沸沸揚揚時 許多人忘了"樂山"的存在 在台北縣的八里鄉的"樂山"(happy moutain)才是 "韓生氏病"(註一)的重要收容所 更不用說高雄市的這一家了 位於
高雄市覆鼎金 的這家診所 原名"特殊皮膚病診所" 就是 收容"leprosy"的病人 更早以前名為"痲瘋病療養院"(?) 許多皮膚科醫生甚至不知有這樣的診所在高雄市 When the "happy life" is activated whether reserve or no, the "happy moutaian" is almost neglect. Besides, there is another almost forget clinic for leprosy in Kaohsiung: The Special Dermatologic Clinic.or more early "the leprosy center", is located at cross of Tien-Shian Road and Ding-Shan Road. The one floor architecture still at itsorigional style in spite of nearbying new buildings



註: Hansen's disease "韓生氏病" 又稱"癩病" leprosy是也 進入21世紀後 日本人取消帶有歧視字眼的病名(另一個就是 schizo.) 現在統稱為"韓生氏病" Hansen氏 是挪威卑爾根人(與音樂家E. Grieg同鄉 當地有"Leprosy museum"臺灣人很少到此city 更不用說這個博物館了 我與老妻1989年就去過 現在才能"現"也)

20071021後勁慈雲宮的慶典ceremony of Houjin Che Yun Gon, Kaohsiung

每年農曆九月九日 高雄市後勁慈雲宮都有慶典活動 規模不大但是儀式不少 大抵 從月前就開始有零星的程序進行 為因應現代人的作息 規模較大的過平安橋儀式 選在最接近的週日進行 Every lunar Spet. 9th is the prominent ceremony of Houjin Che Yun Gon(HJCYG). The temple is at Houjin area, Nan-Tze district, Kaohsiung(not far from Tsoying). Of course, one of the gods is God of Prince, whose birthday is lunar Sept. 9 th The interior is all the gods in this temple, Taoism, Buddhism....

農曆九月九日是太子爺的生日 也是重陽節 在漢民族敬老尊賢的傳統原則的影響 成為一個全民重視的日子 因此太子爺成為當人不讓的主角 真是有意思The chief of this day is God of Prince, Tai-Tze-Ya. There is a ceremony as pass the Safe-Bridge. The god is in front of the bridge and beliver pass the bridge then pray by the taoist, in popular suit.

高雄市的特殊景觀-01陸橋 五層樓 七賢三路

高雄市大公路陸橋 也是臺灣最早的陸橋 呈"丁字形"跨越臨港線鐵路 是1960年代以前 左營到市區的必經之地The overpass of Da-Gon Road, is the early overpass(landbridge) in Taiwan, over on the Harbor railroad as a"J-style", is the only way to downtown Kaohsiung of Tsoyinger before 1960 era.

高雄市七賢三路 聞名的國際道路 自韓戰時興起 越戰時 到達高峰 隨著 國際政治情勢的改變 逐漸消退其光環 遠處牌樓 即高雄港入口 現在可以自由進出 The third segment of Seven-Elites Road(Chi-Shian-San-road ), is a famous international road, raising at Korean War and up to booming at Vietnan War, then downhilled as the compromise between Eastern and Western since ending of WWWII. Now, there is no any signals of it's last days. The entrance of Kaohsiung Harbor is at far site, now freely in and out.

高雄市最早之高樓 "五層樓"就是它的名字 位於五福四路與大勇路口 原為百貨公司 是日治時代的參觀景點 現為"華南銀行分行"
The high building(probably the most early), Five-floors, was a landscape when it is the higest in southern part of Taiwan about 1930 era. It is a branch of Hwa-Nan Commercial Bank, now, and formerly a department store.
